Our Mandate

  • Conserve and promote the conservation and wise use of natural resources
  • To improve and restore fish, wild game and their habitats
  • To promote good sportsmanship afield
  • To improve and assist in improving forests, soil, vegetation and natural scenic and recreational facilities
  • To restore and assist in the restoration of unpolluted air and water
  • To give donations for charitable purposes
  • To cooperate with other organizations, whether incorporated or not, which have objectives similar, in whole or in part, to the objectives of the corporation

  • Membership is $200/year and you must attend at least 2 meetings/year
  • Members meetings on the 2nd and 4th Monday every month – paused for the summer.

Sporting Clays

Jan 1 – Apr 30, open Thursday. Start time is 1:00pm

May 1 – 2nd Thursday in October, open Thursday. Start time is 4:30.

Barbeque is open after shooting.

October – 3rd Thursday to year end, open Thursday. Start time is 1:00 pm.

Skeet/Trap

Mar – Dec, open Sunday. Start time is 1:00pm

LCA Sporting Clays Clinic

There are 4 different clinics, one each month designed for Novice shooters. It’s all fun, no pressure! We will answer your questions and show you some techniques to improve your game.

Clinic Month One: Safety/Eye Dominance/Lead/Focus (shoot 25 targets)

Clinic Month Two: Gun Fit/DIfferent Mounts/Stance/<aking a Plan/Hold Pt./ Look Pt./ Break Pt. (shoot 50 targets)

Clinic Month Three: Practice different types of Leads (shoot 50 targets)

Clinic Month Four: Q&A, Let’s go out to the Sporting Clay Field and practice our new skills (shoot 50 targets0

Cost: The clinic is free, the only fee is to LCA for the targets you shoot. Shoot times will be posted later.

Remember, there are no hard targets, only targets you have not learnt how to shoot yet!
